I just read in my Grapevine that ICPAA was planning on having their annual conference in New Orleans Sept 1-4, 2005. Man, is that bad timing, I hope everyone got out of town ok.

Update: Katrina hit New Orleans on August 29, two days before the conference was supposed to start. There was a pre-conference event for the day before. I can't imagine a large number of AA's could have arrived in New Orleans before the hurricane. I would bet their flights were cancelled. Who knows. I haven't heard any first hand info.
