A meaningful wesak day
This wesak day has been a very meaningful one for me. I have finally made up my mind to donate blood and I am very happy to say " I DID IT!" <applause please> Hahaha....just joking.
Since the last time, I read the blog on the blood donation. I have grown to be more aware of the need to share. I am very honoured to have done my part. This wesak celebration proves to be the first-time doantion and hopefully the start of more donations to come. Daddy is in-charged of the wesak celebration at the vihara...so let's just say, things are running on a pretty low budget. Good thing is...everything went well.
The Choir was really good this year, everyone was very hardworking. Good work, everyone!! the procession time was simply crazy...i mean really crazy, people were swarming the mobile stalls like bees to a flower. In less than half an hour, our candles holders were all sold out. Yeah!
I'll post up the pictures of my blood donation in my next post.
