Attack of the killer Box!
OMG, when I tell you I'm exhausted and feel as though I'm being buried alive by cardboard boxes, I'm not joking. It took 3, yes THREE 26 foot uhaul trucks to get our stuff here, not to mention the carloads and several trips back to Lafayette.... I've NEVER seen so much stuff in my life.... I don't have a clue where it was all hiding, but it's here now, and I intend to purge a ton and a half. Hopefully, we all will.... It has been non-stop since we began packing, and although we aren't on a deadline, I still need to get stuff put away. I haven't found my dress clothes, or shoes. I have shorts, tank tops, a couple of pairs of capri's and a few t-shirts and flip flops.... Doesn't make for a good first impression on a congregation. On top of that, we had been here only 2 days and my husband calls me and said he had a job for me, but I had to start Thursday. Yesterday. Hadn't even really unpacked anything except food, and now I've got a job on top of this unpacking. I could have KILLED him, but then, I'd have to repack the food, and move out cause they'd get a new preacher who would be moving in here....
Ok, so I wouldn't kill him, but you get my point. I'm just sooo tired I can't hardly stand it. I feel like crap, and I know it's cause I'm so tired... Ok, done belly-aching, for now! Just wanted to pop in and say Hi while I was on a much needed break. (Hubby and son went to find pepboys)..... Keep us in your prayers that we get this done without hurting each other!!!

(((((((((HUGS)))))))) LOL ~ yeah, I woulda killed him tooo
. Hope you can sit back and rest soon, but I know you have sooooo much to do ~ can't you catch 40 winks. I'm told it is good to catch a short nap now and then......
eh, eh, eh, do ONE box at a time. Buy ONE (or two) nice set of cothings for church and outings to tide you over until you finally reached that box of more clothing. Check out thrift store so you won't spent too much $$ when you already have enough on hand. One box a day? If so, you are doing GREAT! The longer you are without something, the more you realize you don't exact need it and purge. I do not look forward at all in packing up our own household... need some purging here too! No, we are not moving but pretending mentally.
@mjh905 - mentally moving! What a great concept! I need to do that frequently!! Maybe then I wouldn't be in such a state.
Oh, what a big job! I know little by little it will all come together. I sure would not want to have to start a job with everything all still in boxes, though. I guess that's why men are from Mars and women are from Venus!
Have you dug your way out of the boxes yet?
