Heh, you are not even making the once-a-month blog quota, ROTFL!  Close, though... we will look for improvement, hehe! You know what?  I think maybe I am ADD too... about a month ago, we were with quilting pals, and I said, "I wonder if I might be ADD."  Immediately, my doc's wife friend (who has a chemical/medical solution for everything) blurts out, "You can get meds for that, you know?"  Since then, the 'grandmotherly' one in the group (who hands out mounds of unsolicited advice and thinks marijuana ought to be legal) has been harping me to get to the doc and on drugs.  I don't think I am going the meds route either, unless they are highly recommended and are more natural meds than synthetic (I really have probs with syns and their by-products, but that's just me.)   I'd like to know about your group, if'n you didn't mind.

Wow, a lot going on with your chicas.  I hate Robin had to go through the unmarriage thing, cos it's so complicated.  Coping with it... gah.  Of course, I speak though my own experience.  I know you yub those grandboys too... they rock, and I am sure they are all the more cooler, having not birthed male kids yourself.

And still birfin' babes for a livin'... and a pottery wheel taboot!  Glad you are creating.  It's so cathartic to life's madness.  I have always wanted to try wheeling ~ are you kick or electric?  Thanks for dropping by my place and letting me know you were around.  I've been quilting more than xangaing... miss my closie pals so much.  I hope we can at least loosely keep in touch.  You are loved, Gal Pal!

I have been wondering about you and yours.  When the kids go through things like what Robin is still going through, well the whole family goes through it too.  I am sorry it must be difficult, a real heartbreaker.  I am glad that the health problems are restricted to colds  yay!  One day a week would be just great for me hope it is just what you want too...and the creativity goes on.  Bravo!!  As for me I am just Lazy and damn they don't make drugs to alleviate that!-g

Wow, we all seem to have so much real life that we are less likely to 'see' folks here.  It's all good I guess, but I sure miss some of 'uns.  It was great to see Jakey and how big he's gotten!

Also, I think ADD could be in me as well, but have never had it diagnosed.  Another idea to ponder though, is the personality you were made to be.  There's a great book I am reading, Personality Plus, that gives the 4 main types and I am definetly Sanguine.  My Shawn is Phlegmatic, then there is Melancholy and Choeleric... I hope I spelled right. lol

Anyway, if you look for the book and take the test, let me know.  Us Sanguine's need to stick together... with all the partial projects, to do lists that don't get done and so forth! lol

Did you know that in the US, ADD and ADHD is diagnosed (and prescribed for) more than 40 (forty 4-0) times more than anywhere else in the first world?  I don't know you hardly, virtually, and not in real life at all so what I say can only be general. I have met, but rarely, children and adults with ADD/ADHD and they are very severely disturbed - their lives are unmistakeably different and it isn't a bit like the wild inattentive flutterby ways of, say, my child who was diagnosed with it (but didn't have it and has outgrown his simple exuberance).  Hitler wanted to sterilize and kill everyone who didn't fit his ideal Teutonic mould. I think everyone - countries, teachers, doctors should watch out for this tendency to want everyone to fit into their own mould.  Tolerance should be not just for race and religion, but different wetware operating systems!

I actually came to tell you I found and ordered this book on gourds.  You inspired me!
