Oooh, sounds like something I could do - but not fix, either!  Sorry!  Hope you get a computer whixz to help you.  About all I could suggest would be fiddling with the tabs on your email that sort it.  Of course, I don't use Outlook, either.  Good luck!

I can't help either... I don't use outlook.  Hopefully someone does.

As to your question on pogo games.  They have been cutting back on the free games they offer.. They still have several.  Did you go to www.pogo.com   and look for all games?   I know they have been flooding the screen with download games that they are trying to sell on an individual basis. Keep looking you should be able to find All Games or something like that on the page.  I broke down and paid the yearly fee for pogo back when they offered it as a discount to AOL customers.. They have gone up a lot but I still get it for that same price.  To me it is worth it, I use to play on Yahoo.com but there is too much trash talk on it..

Hi Granny,

Don't know if this will help but on your Outlook Express toolbar click "View" and then click "Layout". See what boxes are checked there. See if "Contacts" is checked, if not, check it then "apply" and "okay" and see if that helps.

If not, I don't know off hand what to do. Try that and then send me an e-mail and I will reply and see if you can see my name as the sender. mmckever@woh.rr.com

Granny try this: Go under "View" to "Current View" and see if "Show all Messages" is selected. Hope this helps!

Nope, Martna1, that didn't work either.  I also, now have a paper clip icon at the beginning of every e-mail on my list.  Even the ones with no attachment.  GRRR

I use Outlook Express but I will let Martna1 work with you as I'm not sure without a screen capture what you mean. The only thing I would suggest after trying her suggestion that you close Outlook and see if that worked when you re-open it. In fact maybe a shut down and reboot of computer may reset it.

Go to "View" -> "Columns", and see if "From" is checked.  Let me know if that works.  I'm going to go catch up on the rest of your blogs.

Just make some new friends and delete the old????

Just kidding--I screwed up my outlook yesterday and it took all day to get it back. I'm not sure what you did so I don't know if I can help you without seeing it. Do you have a gray bar with the word "inbox" on the left side--if so try clicking that and see what comes up

OK, go to "Subject" in the window where your messages are.  Just to the left of "Subject" should be a faint vertical line.  When you move your mouse over it, a "cross-like figure" shows up.  While you're hovering just to the right of the vertical line, and making sure the cross is still showing, press on your mouse and move "Subject" to the right.  Does anything show up when you do that?

Oh Granny,

I hope you can get it fixed! Hubby doesn't use Outlook so he would not be any help.

I don't know what else to suggest as I cannot "see" what is going on. BUT I AM going to pray that someone knows how to fix it and soon. Take care!

Granny, thanks for the encouragement!  Yes, my mom lives with us and has for almost 4 years.  We knew she had dementia at the time, but about 2 years ago they diagnosed Alzheimers and she has steadily gotten worse. The more she forgets the more I have to remember and do to care for her.  I have been working on getting more help.  Also my sister just retired from her job, so she will be able to take Mom to visit with her more often.  Its a struggle, but also we have all learned a lot from this.  She was a great mom and always filled with love for us, so we want to do all we can.
