WII? Where is it--I dont guess I saw it

Hey Granny, if you had a teenager like I do, you would know.  It is a new Nintendo that is coming out, Wii, pronounced "We."  I guess that Xanga is helping to promote it!

I've seen the Wii on several other's sites -- those that don't have Premium, but don't worry, it's just an advertisement.  It'll eventually go away. There's probably "code" you could add to "look and feel" to suppress it -- do you want to tackle that?  If so, I could probably find the code.  Thanks for the info about the magazines and the website -- I'll go check it out.  Yes, I'm still playing the piano for church.  But we went to one service -- we have a new pastor --so I only play every other Sunday.  We've got to get together again for lunch.

It's advertisisng for the new nintendo system. There was a blog from john at Xanga that explained how to make it go away, if you want, but personally I thought it sounded like trouble, to me!  It's easier to ignore it.  And it's temporary.  Maybe I will see if I can find that post and send it to you...

<TD vAlign=top> Nintendo Wii promoA quick head's up on a week-long promo we're running with Nintendo Wii.

As you may or may not be aware, the Nintendo Wii is coming out next week. 

So for the next week, we'll have a Wii icon next to the comment pics.  If you click on the Wii, you'll be able to visit their website and check out the specs of the new system.  It uses a new "revolutionary" controller that's motion sensitive, so you can just wave your arms and the game will automagically sense it.  I'm pretty excited ot try out Nintendo Tennis at the office!

As before with our earlier Sprite Dunkface promo, we've asked Wii to agree to a few conditions:
<LI>The Wii icons will ONLY appear on classic users' pages (Premium and Plus users' pages continue to be ad-free) <LI>Classic users can hide the icons with one click, by hiding the profile pics next to your comments <LI>If you want to hide the Wii icons but still show your profile pics, just install this CSS code in your Look and Feel. So to summarize: the Wii promo starts today, runs for a week, and there are several ways to opt out. If the week goes by too slowly, you could try cryogenically freezing yourself to make the time go faster?   Just watch out for the Sea Otters!  (I hope I am not the only person who watches South Park).

I'm glad your people answered this.  I just asked about it on my last post.

As soon as I saw your post I went and looked and now I see it--BUT IT WASN'T THERE YESTERDAY !!! --Ok Ok--Your smarter than me.

yeah...what IS up with that?        I've been receiving Birds and Blooms magazine for many years..I also get their annual Daily Planner..good stuff!

Now I know I am glad I am premium. Hope I can continue as such.
