MOWING  DAY  TOMORROW

Supposed to be in the 70s with no rain.   Hope I can get it all done in one day, because there's a little gal I met a while back, who's going to come, hopefully, the next day to help me rake off all the old mulch, put the lime on my clematis, then put new mulch back on, on top of the old.

One trellis blew down in the storm too, so I want to fasten that back onto the metal posts.  We had it fastened with those plastic straps, and they weather badly, then break.  This time we're going to try aluminum wire.  On that one, I have two of the old fashioned purple clematis so I want to get a pink Mandavilla to go in the middle of them.  Blooms all summer and is really pretty.

My other big arch trellis, made from cattle panels, has 8 different hybrid clematis on it.  I think we have every kind there is.  My hubby liked them, so one year for Father's day, I got all 8 kinds, and he and Dale made this big arch for them.  Boy, when they're in bloom, THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL!!   If I EVER get this picture problem whipped, I'll put the picture of them on here.

I've been going through my pictures, and found a good one of my mower and me, but can't put it on anything without it letting God and EVERYBODY scroll through all my pictures when I send it.  WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?  I only want to send ONE!!!

I made a mistake on my last blog, when I said they made 2 to 3000 lbs of pork butts up, into garlic sausage.   Theresa told me they made up 7400 lbs.  That's  almost THREE AND A HALF TONS!!!!!

O.K.   Enough.   Bedtime.

Good luck getting all the mowing done.

I love clematis too. We don't have any here at the new house. I don't know WHAT we have here at the new house..whatever was left and planted by the old owners.

I know there is a bed of Stella d'Or daylillies, some herbs (but I had HUGE herb gardens and perennials at my old house and my parents house that still need to be dug up and moved. It is so hard finding someone because I cannot do what needs to be done with my disabilities and my DH knows NOTHING WHATSOEVER about plants )

I guess as things come up and start blooming, I will find out what was planted here before. It's hard not knowing, because I don't know what are weeds and what is a plant coming back LOL Well, some things I know, like dandelions, henbit and chickweed

I was catching up and that was hilarious about your friend Sandy! Glad she hadn't gone too far! Sounds like you did have a very busy 10 days. It made me tired just to read it...you have so much energy. Yum the Italian sausage sounds good, if a little TOO garlic-y. Hope you enjoy it. They did make a LOT.

Have a great week and don't hurt yourself. I sure hope you get the pics of the flowers up because that sounds awesome!

Hola Granny!!

I have a small clematis in my side flower bed next to my neighbor, Miss Jean.  Got it last year on clearance at Lowe's for $2 so I got one for her too!

With the pictures, if you have them save in a folder on your computer, when you get logged onto Xanga and want to upload a picture this is what you do:

When you are ready to do a new entry and the page is up, you will see a box on the row after font etc. with a picture of a mountain and the sun.  If you run your mouse over it it says "photo options".   You will then see the Browse button.  Click on that to find the folder where your pictures are.  For example, your folder is called Granny's Flowers.

Click on Granny's Flowers and pick the foto  you want to upload to your Xanga entry. Click once on the foto you want and then click Open.  It will go to your new entry site and there will be a prompt to "upload picture". Click on upload and once it is uploaded, you go into the new weblog entry and click where you want the picture to be.  Hope this makes sense to you.

@martna1 - I made a copy of your instructions, and will try that.  My problem is.......when I put that picture up, then there's a place at the bottom of the picture that lets you hit the forward arrow, and someone could click that and see all the others I have on my computer.  I DON'T WANT GOD AND EVERYBODY TO SEE ALL THOSE NAKED PICTURES I STORE ON HERE!!!!    (o;     J K    But seriously, I don't want anyone to be able to click on that forward arrow.  This computer is NUTS!!!  All those pictures I sent you folks yesterday............dumb thing won't let me do it today.  Keeps telling me when I click on e-mail    "E-Mail failed".     Grrrr   WORKED YESTERDAY!!!     Hey Thanks Kiddo.  I'll try it later.  Just got off the mower and out of the tub.  Supposed to meet my cousins in town for supper.   I'D RATHER JUST GO TO BED!!!!

As I can see no arrow on the bottom of the picture I have no idea where it is pointing. That's cause I see no pictures. Pictures from your computer get uploaded to xanga. Why would they point to the folder and view all pictures in it if you upload one picture?
