I work with loonies (self included, thank you).

So there was AthiestMan last week and now there's FakeCatholicBoy!  I've mentioned him in an earlier post, but I'll recap for newbies.  He's a coworker who's my age (25), graduated from a Catholic college and is against abortions and gay marriage, but is for the death penalty... sounds like a keeper, right??

I'm all for people having their own beliefs and opinions... but when they're so twisted and when they TELL others what to do, it pisses me off.  So here's the deal... he's against abortions and thinks they should be banned b/c it means killing an innocent life.  He thinks it's murder!  Which is fine and I can see that point.  But AthiestMan brought up a hypothetical scenerio to ask FakeCatholicBoy.... if FakeCatholicBoy were to have a daughter one day and this daughter were raped by a black man and got prego, would he still be against abortion?  You know what he said???  (Ohhhh, you're going to love this one) He said he'd want her to get an abortion b/c he doesn't want a black baby in his family!    Sooooo, his thinking is that black babies deserve to die but white ones don't.  What the hell?!  I've always respected his Fake Catholic ways.... but now I have no respect whatsoever for this horrible, horrible person.  Makes me sad, real sad.

Today he decide to talk about the death penalty and how that's okay b/c it's a punishment... whereas abortion is killing an "innocent" life.  First of all, if he follows his christian beliefs... he should think that no one is born innocent.... and that only God can make judgements on who should live and die.  But he's adament about the fact that murderers should be murdered.... I guess b/c 2 negatives make a positive??  I know people want revenge, but that doesn't make it right.

Anyway, between AthiestMan and FakeCatholicBoy my bloodpressure is out of control.  I should walk away when they bring these topics up, but I just can't help myself from offering my opinion.  It's a disease really.
