Here we are, back at Monday.

Let's see... Friday I got to see my sister and we went shopping for a little bit.  Unfortunately, she doesn't live too close to me anymore so the traveling cuts into our time together.  It was cool, but I wasn't aware of the fact that that mall closed a little earlier than I had thought.  Oh well... still a good time.  On Saturday I took Alex and my mom out to Short Hills mall... yes, yes... more shopping.  They've never been there and were always curious about it.  For those of you who don't know that mall, it's a little more, how do you say, geared towards rich people.  I can almost never buy anything there because of stores like Louis Vuitton and Armani and blah blah blah.  It's nice to look and act like you can afford it.  The upside to that place is that you don't get young punk kids hanging out and annoying you.  It's usually not too busy and the bathrooms are a must see  =)  So yeah, I bought boots that I really can't afford, and Mike had no problem reminding me about that.  But hey, they're boots!  Plus they're pointy, so I can just kick him the next time he reminds me.   

That brings us to Sunday... I helped Mike clean his apartment because the other people he lives with don't give a damn.  I hate when people are lazy and messy in a communal area.  Filling the fridge with nonsense that will only go bad and won't get touched b/c you buy so much damn take-out gets under my skin.  Your OWN room is one thing.  Plus I think the spots of puke that were never cleaned up in the bathroom around (not IN) the toilet give it a nice touch.  So anyway, I digress.  My sister and Scott met up with me and Mike at his place.  We went out to The Famished Frog and it was pretty good.  I just got a little irritated when our waiter didn't bring us the bread that EVERYONE else was getting around us.  So my sister asked for some  =)  I mean come on, I got the Filet Mignon.... that SHOULD come with bread at least.  It was sorta small too.

Unfortunately, Mike thinks he's getting a cold now.. grrrr!  I wish this cold business would stop making its way around to everyone.. jeeeeez!  I really did not want to wake up this morning when my alarm went off.  Weekends always break me from my weekday routine.  I swear I hit the snooze and one minute later it went off again and it was magically 10 minutes later than last time.  So I ended up hitting it again.  And now the weather is crappy and I want a nap!  Oh well, at least I look good in my new boots
