| | - It's amazing how fast antibiotics work for me. I was in hell yesterday and had to leave work to see the doc. Today, I'm feeling 80% better. Ahhhh. I'm not going to explain what happened, but suffice it to say that it wasn't fun and now I'm better. That's all.
- Last night, Mike knocked me in the head with his elbow TWICE. GRRR. And I woke up with a headache that won't go away. I think I'm going to knock him in the head tonight.
- The scale at my gym is off. And it's not just in my head. It doesn't balance out at zero. So, I did NOT gain a pound back! I told someone it needed to be calibrated... so let's see how long it takes that place to get it done. Maybe not weighing myself for a while will be good. I need to stop obsessing over the scale.
- I think Mike and I are going to spend a day in the city (NYC) this weekend. We need it.
- This morning, my local radio morning show brought up an interesting topic. Apparently, someone wrote in about how she's engaged to a guy who lost his virginity to her. So, she thinks he should "experience" other women before they get married b/c she's afraid he'll resent her or regret it in the future. I'm thinking WTF? And a few other women called in saying the same thing... and some people even tried it. Now, don't get me wrong. I have my doubts about Mike b/c of this reasoning. But I would NEVER tell him to go fool around with other women to get it out of his system. I mean, I was a virgin before Mike and I don't think it would be right for me to try out other men. That's just not cool. And not necessary. Marriage is supposed to be about love. If you're happy with that person, why do you need to "try out" other people??? You've got to be somewhat unsatisfied to even think about it. So my question is... do a lot of women think/feel this way? If you were engaged to a virgin, would you let him fool around???? Have times really changed so much that this is even a consideration???
- I had a dream last night that I was at some expo or something and I was helping out. At some point, a bunch of out-of-staters started lighting up cigs. So I went up to a bunch of them and said "there's no indoor smoking in NJ now". And they all put them out. Then I noticed the big cloud of smoke dissipate. And I was THRILLED. I love this new law!
- Okay, I really need to do the work that's piling up now. Have a good weekend!! |
