I finally get to see Avenue Q on Broadway tomorrow. Stevens had some really cheap tickets so I pounced on them. I may be sitting in one of the farthest seats from the stage... but I'm sure it'll still be great!

At some point over the weekend, I really have to get some school work done. I've been slacking a bit because the courses I'm taking aren't too challenging. And I'm not complaining at all about that... it just doesn't motivate me to try much. My goal was to get a majority of my work done by now so that I could relax around the holidays. I still have time to make that a reality.... so I need to step things up a bit.

Two nights ago, I stopped at my mom's house to work on her bookkeeping for her business. Well, she asked me to read some mail she got about her car insurance that I set up for her. WELL, my brother started going off about how she can't do anything by herself and he was getting loud with insulting her. I tried to reason with him... which is just a waste of time. He kept saying she can't do anything on her own. And I think this is VERY ironic, since he's a grown-ass man and he is still living with her. Anyway... I got pissed off to the end of my limit and just screamed, "she went through a whole fucking divorce on her own!" Then he got this confused look on his face and said, "why are you yelling at me?" So I told him that I yelled because he was yelling ... and so he stormed off muttering something.

He came to the table to eat with us a few minutes later and he was fine. Not mad at all.

So I'm starting to wonder if dominance is the key with him. I know he feeds off of my mom's weaknesses. Maybe that's why he loves to mooch off of her and insult her by telling her that she doesn't speak english????

Hmmmmm.
