| | I've been trying to pull off a gym routine of 6 days a week. That may have to end this week because I seem to have injured myself in some weird way. Last night I did an awesome eliptical workout that burned 600 cals (in 40 mins)! After that I moved on to my normal stretching routing. Can you believe that I'm now able to kiss my thighs in a v-seat stretch?? Crazy. But anyway. I went to spread my legs out and stretched forward. Then I moved to stretch toward my left leg and...
YEEOOOOOW! Crrrack-crrrrunch. Something in my thigh made a very loud noise that I was able to hear over Jurassic 5 blasting in my headphones. It really did sound like I broke a bone (not that I really know what that sounds like). It was a very quick pain and was gone just as quickly as it came on. So I figured something popped and I was fine.
And it was... for a while. I started to feel achy when I climbed into bed and was hoping it'd settle down by the time I woke up. Heh, yeah right. I'm walking like a gimp at work now and I'm even trying to force myself to walk semi-normally. It's not really a horrible pain at all. That is, as long as I stay off of the toilet. TMI? I don't care. Whenever I sit on a toilet seat, the pain is ridiculous. It feels like my leg bone is going to separate off of my body. But I'm fine in a regular office seat.
So my theory is that I may have popped my leg out of its socket and then back in very suddenly. Is that possible? Anyone know what the heck this is?
The gym is bad, mkay? Especially when you don't lose any damn weight!!!!!!! |
