A true secret ingredient!
Perhaps some of you may know this ingredient. And once you taste it, it could surely bounce back some memories for more of you.
Mature Cilantro.
It's cilantro - intensified! with notes of celery, fennel, parsley all rolled into one little fronds! The fronds, little flowers and seed pods are very edible. The only thing not is the stem; it can be too hard to chew.
It took me like a freaking 1 1/2 hours to make this, but I wanted to preserve that wonderful mature cilantro with pepper sauce so I incorporated it with oil! This picture may look like it's in a lot of oil but there wasn't that much oil - really. And it lasted for long time in our fridge.
MMmmm, there really isn't anything like this taste. ... now if only the top chefs around the world knew this?
