i may not have known your favorite color
or your exact grades in school
or anyone's name in your family
but let me tell you...
i did know the exact way you walked
the way you carried yourself
and how your eyes sparkled in just right light

i'm reading your note over again,
there's not a word that i comprehend,
except when you signed it:
"i'll love you always, and forever"

it's amazing
how fast you got over me.
it's even more amazing
that i actually got over you..

just once, i want to be hard to leave.
i want to be the one he's up late at night
thinking about. i want to be the one
he's telling his boys --- i think i love her

every time i laugh i
look to see if hes watching, cause
i wonder if he`s fallen for my smile as
hard as i`ve fallen for his. <33

when someone is born, someone dies.
someone laughs, someone cries.
if you love someone, let them know
cause if they leave tomorrow, they will never know.

i'm the kind of person that laughs at a joke 3 times:
once when it's told
once when it's explained to me
once 5 minutes later when i actually get it.

every night she finds herself lying in her bed,
remembering every little glance, and every little thing he said to her.

&. sometimes i wish that i would die.
somedays i'm funny. others i'm not.
sometimes i'm in overdrive & i can't stop.
you may not like me. thats okay.
cus this is me & how i'll always stay

this is for the girls who never won. the girls who stay up late at night listening to music that inspires them to do things next to impossible. the girls that laugh, smile, cry, and think on a daily basis. the girls who live and learn and regret. the girls who may never have it easy. the girls who learned the hard way, and lived to tell about it. the real girls.

I am some stupid little girl
who thinks she is all grown up
But I'm not, I if was so grown up I wouldn't fall for guys so easily
I wouldn't let stupid things get to me
I wouldn't let my scrapes and bruises stay on my skin like they were permanent
I wouldn't fall for guys that I'm friends with
&& if I was really grown up I never would have fell in love with you
Because even though it was the best thing that ever happened to me
It was the dumbest thing I ever let myself do ...

you're not the cutest boy i've seen.
you're not the smartest of my friends.
i know people better than you at sports.
you could be in better shape if you tried.
these are only a few of your imperfections.
but the truth? i'd rather have you over
any perfect guy i met.<3

I don't talk to you much these days
I just thank the lord pictures don't fade

She gave him one last glance
&& walked out of his life forever
