| Man Chem E banquet was the best... for all you chem E's out there... you were the first ones to see the uhh... uhh... "FUN ANDREW"... so... yeah... here is a picture of Andrew and Libby in the cluster working:

| Last night I had a strange dream. I dreamed that I was at the kitchen stadium challenging the Japanese Iron Chef, Iron Chef Morimoto. I dont' remember the theme of the battle but I end up making 3 different kinds of soup. Then, when I was about to start making my sushi with 15 minutes left until the end... I found of that some stupid person... had prepared my sushi rice using the Thai rice instead of the Japanese rice... was like fudge... and Iron Chef Morimoto started laughing at me... what the heck... so I made my sushi using the Thai rice... and well it didn't really stay together... not sticky enough... so yeah... I knew then that I was not going to beat him... but then... from out of no where Iron Chef Morimoto got 2 foot long sub from Subway and slice them like the sushi roll.... The tasting part was very bad too... don't really remeber exactly what they said... something like we are not really hungry or something... anyway... Iron Chef Morimoto won the battle with his turky cold cut combo sushi or something nasty like that... well... This dream further shows how close I am to snapping I guess... Maybe I will fight the Italian Chef tonight...  | | |
| It's been a while since I posted. I haven't been myself... nothing cheerful enough to post on the web. Today, went to dinner with Libby, Wai, Matt and Al. Originally we were going to eat all you can eat chicken wings... but the wait was 1 hour plus... so we decided to go to Don Pablos for some mexican food. Well... it was a fun dinner... things were just not going well for the people there... first there was this waitress who dropped some beer on the floor... then the food was kinda late... so finally the food came... and when they were putting out food on the table... one of the waitresses hit the tray stand and knocked half of our food over. Libby's and my food was lost entirely... and Matt and Al were missing their rice and beans.... Wai got her food though... The waitress kept on giving us drinks and we all had 3 glasses of soda... so Libby and I were kinda bored... and was looking at the manager making tortilla shells using a press... and we thought that making tortilla was interesting. Then the manager came to apologize for the dinner and asked us if there was anything he could do... so Libby being a smart ass told him that I would like to use the press to make tortilla shells... -_-"... so yeah... the manager was like sure... come along we need some help anyway... I will teach you how to use the press to make the tortilla shells... so yeah... I followed him to the kitchen and he tought me how to press the tortilla shells and how to grill them on a plate that was 375F... (for some reason I kept on wanting to ask him how hot is it in kelvin.. )... anyway... so yeah I was making tortilla for people for about 10 mins... so yeah basically there are 2 kinds of tortilla shells they make at Don Pablos... the big one and the small one... doh... to make the big one you use one big dough and press it with the press... and you can make 3 little shells each time. Yeah so you press the dough until it starts making this noise... then you release the pressure... yeah... so the dough will stay in one piece... (yeah I pressed one too long and it was... well... let's just say it mutated....-_-")... anyway... I was in this open kitchen for a while and people were watching... hehe... that was really fun... something out of ordinary I guess... kinda interesting I thought... anyway... so yeah I made a few loads of tortilla shells today... hope people are okay after eatting them. The manager ended up taking $25 off our check... what a nice guy. | | |
| Hum... wonder what's been going on with my life... kinda don't know what's going on with my life now. Everything is so uncertain... have been trying to avoid the count down until the end of the year... I know I am supposed to be happy... but I am not... I think I am scared... about the future... about not being able to see my friends... I know I bitch about the work (I think we all bitched) and said countless time that we hate out place... but I wouldn't know a better place to be. Well... I don't know... went to dinner with Matt, Wai and Mel last night after another afternoon at the cluster... well... we were talking about how many people we worked with freshman year are still in chem E.... for wai it was 2 out of 9... and for me... it was like 4 out of 9... I think mel has 3-4 out of 9 as well... and Wai and I double counted each other too since we worked together... mel's last name was H so she was in the other group... anyway... we've lost a lot of people... anyway... dinner was pretty good... had East African Grill Chicken... have no clue what the heck it was so I got it... anyway... after dinner Wai and Matt went to see the Ring at school... didn't feel like going so Mel and I went to "Dave and Andy's"... yeah "Dave and Andy's" the ice cream place... we were nuts because it was freezing outside... but I really wanted some ice cream... so we each got one... and we marched out into the cold and people were looking at us like we are nuts... coz we had out winter jackets and bloves and scarf and all that... it was just funny... well... I think it is really cool to eat ice cream in the winter... that's all I have to say (although you might get a running nose later). Oh yeah... Libby told me that she went to a chinese restaurant with her friends for her roommate's b-day... they ordered the cold combo thingie (like len pan in chinese) anyway... they didn't know about the jelly fish... haha... but Libby didn't eat any... doh... it was not until the end when they want to get thing wrap up... the waiter asked... do you want to put the jelly fish in the box too? they were like "what jelly fish" haha... almost went rolling on the floor in the cluster... well... must force Libby to eat some later. Oh yeah... sent out the V-day stuff for Jenn.... hehe.... hope she likes it... took me a while to make it... and the idea and design kept on changing during the process too... anyway sent it out yesterday... got lost on my way to the post office...  ... finally I got there after 40 mins... and the postal worker said you need to write a form declearing what you have in it and how much it is worth... I know the entire thing probably worth like $6 but well... it is special so should have wrote priceless on it... anyway... today is studying day... have to study for the exam next week... fun fun fun... well... that's all. | | |
| Friday again, going to take it easy tonight and go see a movie with my friends (maybe) still waiting for them to reply to my e-mail so I know how many tickets to get. Got the present for Jenn ready for Feb. 14 but well... I forgot to bring my address book so yeah can't send it today... have to do it tomorrow morning. Well... exam next week... have to study... get tired so easily lately... need sleep... yawn... well... hope I can get some more sleep... Pittsburgh is muddy... have to aviod the flying mud while walking to school or going home... got splashes a while ago... don't like it much.. almost ran after that car... anyway... nothing much going on. Need to find something to do for spring break. :-/ | | |
