    New Stuff
Revisited the farm from Monday, but the results didn't particularly impress me.  There's one photo.  I didn't spend much time going through the photos though because I was doing everything else on the computer.  Among many other things, I managed to finally do some redesign uploads to both JTrait and Xanga.  Neither redesign is complete yet, but at least I got some things accomplished with them finally!  Today isn't slowing down much either, so I must keep this entry a little shorter than usual.  Alot to do in figuring out everything for my niece to start homeschooling.  What do you think of the new elements on my Xanga (new banner and new link icons)?

    Always be Prepared
1 Peter 3:15 can be a little intimidating in how it's often taught/understood.  I've often heard it turned into simply "always be prepared with an answer".  Suddenly that short phrase becomes an overwhelming workload as a young Christian feels that he or she needs to understand everything spiritual in order to even talk to someone.  While the desire to understand more and more of God and the Bible should burn within us, that understanding misses the point of what Peter is saying.  The encouragement here isn't any mystery in the verse, but laid out clearly: be able to share your hope in Christ.  Can we learn to better explain that hope or to give answers to more difficult questions?  Of course.  But that's the fundamental answer we must always have clear in us.  It not only allows us to answer their important question, but also to strengthen us in everything we face.
