Photos for Valentines and Short post of thoughts
No Swimming PleaseHappy V-Day/SAD!
The storm has come and gone. The sun has returned. And ice covers the land. It's rather beautiful outside, although grey clouds still hang over most of the sky. I was hoping for a nice deep blue backdrop for photos today. Nevertheless, pictures are a-waitin' to be takin'. I've posted a couple photos from during the freezing rain yesterday (that was a nightmare to take pictures in). I don't feel like any of them turned out particularly well, so I'm determined to get better shots today. The above one was just one of those things you see and think "I can't miss that one!" Why do I let it continue?... Simply because somehow it's losing it's importance
with time. Lord willing, I'll be able to pull myself around.... With His help I will.
Daily Bible times are helping, but apathy is always difficult to get past.
Most definitly V-Day!! I don't have a guy, or a date...but you don't need that to celebrate valentines day!!! It's a day just about LOVE in general, so it can be about love for your family, love for your friends, love for other Christians, or for non-believers.... I'm not at all SAD

V-day for sure. Our house has been decorated for this day for over a week. It's special.
What's distracting me from God? nuthin'
Xanga wass my biggest distraction for awhile.
now It's no xanga until I've had my quiet time/bible study with the Lord
The world. Ideally, I would run away and figure things out on my own... But alas, i can't do that. We are made to be IN the world, but not apart of the world. The TV shows, the books, the magazines, the culture, the expectations placed upon me as a teenage girl are holding me back in some respects. But at the same time, they only hold me back because I don't fight them.
Dude. I miss you like a fat kid misses cake. I haven't seen you in a few months. Or Jen. Or Cole.
We need to change that. Soon.

What keeps me? Yep, I know, and I know why. Because apparently I don't learn the lesson well enough and it comes back to me to learn again and I'm angry.
Does that make sense?
As for the first question...is there an answer between there? Like...I have a Valentine, but feel single?

Things that can distract you from God? Life. Busyness. Trying to please other people.
