Morning Hours, Childlike Anticipation, Photos of Photo Equipment

Like Father, Like SonPhoto
FinishStart
I awoke this morning to a beautiful site outside as the sun rose. I looked out the window, thinking about what would be the best shots for pictures. There were a number of them to choose from! But then I laid back down and fell asleep... What dedication, huh? So no wonderful sunrise pictures from today because this is a lazy photographer in the morning. So instead I pulled out all my cameras and did a new scene for my equipment photo (for my blog and for my photo site I'm working on). I'll have those up later. Two of the photos displayed are of an old Brownie camera my wife got me for our wedding (or was it anniversary... I think it was wedding). She knows me well! The first photo is my likeminded son, who decided he needed to do some photo-taking while his daddy was. What does it take to drag you out of the bed in the morning?

Brownie B/WLook, daddy!
Remember when you were drawing a picture and felt so excited about mom or dad's (or whatever family member's) reaction? Or when you writing that really good paper about what you did all summer and could nearly see that "A" the teacher would surely give you? What will the excitement of standing before God be like, waiting for those two amazing words: "Well done." We have no idea when that time will be, but we know it's coming. Those that know Him can know those words. The excitement of anticipation should permeate everything we do in our days as we realize that He is there with us in each moment. Anticipation was all we knew during those moments as children; we should be more childlike in our anticipation of our Father's attention.

Nothing to take me to drag me out of bed. Usually my mom wakes up, then Madeline and Reese go off for school, Then I wake up. heh.
hahahha! Cole looks like you there. xDD
Cole is growing up so fast...what a cutie.
The smell of brewing coffee will usually get me out of bed...coffee timers are awesome. And if that doesn't work...a good ol' California earthquake will usually do the trick.
ryc: I hope I didn't say too much about the movie...I was trying to be careful for those who hadn't seen it yet. I love a good action-adventure, but I REALLY coulda done without the graphic stuff. My main reason for going to the movie was out of curiosity and cuz my son asked if I wanted to go and when a 20-year-old son invites his mom to hang with him and his friends at a movie...well, there's basically only one right answer. YES. Like I said...I just closed my eyes a lot. And I had a great time. Besides, apparently my laughing at the goriest part became quite the topic of conversation the next day at their swim workout... Yup, they think I'm one crazy momma. At least I didn't scream out loud like I did at Red Eye...my daughter's youth group will never forget that one.
So go see '300'...it was cool...but go with a guy for sure...it's not a date movie.
(You know how jealous I am of you, right?)
The opportunity for a great photo has been known to get me out of bed, but not that often
