Spring and Music, Beyond the Beauty of Spring, and Rainy Day

A Rainy Day OutsideSmells like spring spirit
What a past few days... Several days of rain and one very disgusting morning. But at least it's Friday right? I'll be spending my weekend weeding through my CD collection. After building a fairly large collection, I've decided it's time to remove the majority and apply those resources to something better. Since the bulk of them have sat in storage for a year undisturbed, I figure that I can probably do without them fairly well! Other old collections are headed out the door as well. Spring cleaning gone wild I suppose. Spring rains are also doing some spring cleaning around here, but the beauty of spring rain is that you can stand outside in it without shivering from the chills. I'm afraid that's all for today. I kept having to walk away after about every sentence, so my concentration is shot! When is the last time you played in the rain?Thoughts dwelling on creation
Springs is upon most of us in the northern hemisphere now. Appreciation of nature reaches a peak as fresh green emerges, flowers cover the landscape, and animal life abounds. Yet despite all the beauty and inspiration, we still do not know the true beauty of God's Creation. We were banished from His perfect garden long ago and have not known it since. Consider the beauty of this world. Vast oceans with countless forms of life. Massive forests with creatures yet undiscovered. Powerful animals that demand respect beside creatures so delicate that to touch them wrong would kill them. Plants of every color... Yet it's imperfect. It isn't Eden. Imagine then, that if this world holds such beauty and wonder... imagine what God's perfect garden was like. The complete beauty of God's creation, filled with His presence so that the grandeur of it all becomes less than an afterthought before the Creator.

last time I played in the rain was last year, maybe fallish. xDDD it was fun. bwahha. ;D
nice shot, yo!
Rainy days can be my favorite-depending on just how stormy the rain is. I love a good thunderstorm though. The last time I seriously played in the rain was probably, oh gosh, 4 or 5 years ago. That was all out PLAYING though. We went and ran barefoot through the mud, and got soaked. It was a BLAST. I love to be in the rain-so I see a playing in the rain date in my future.
I hope you guys have a GREAT weekend!!

we had some rain this week. One day's worth. Made the greens that are already out there seem much greener. You are right about the garden. It must have been absolutely incredible! Something to look forward to in heaven. and the new earth! ryc forgiveness, would like to hear your take on the topic sometime.
