Xanga Anew, Gethsemane, and Critter Photo

Testing, 1...2...3
Xanga has a new theme system that will do away with the old method of creatively manipulating the design of your layout. For now it's a premium-only toy and it only functions for the front page of a person's site, but it is very nice indeed. From what I gather, it will apply to every page of a person's Xanga within a month. I've been toying with it and almost have a setup that I'm happy with. Unfortunately I ran out of time last night and can't get back to the computer until this evening. I love the fact that Xangans can work with their setup to fairly easily have a layout that resembles a real blog. Although mine isn't finished yet, what say you to the new look? The Wait (Matthew 26:36-45)
Staying awake after a long day can be difficult, but when Jesus feels the need to take a stroll around the garden late at night and praying for long periods of time on end, it seems nearly impossible! It's not as if any of the disciples intend to fall asleep though. But it is only a little nap. They can get a little bit of rest in and be ready to go for more teaching or miracles or whatever Jesus has in mind for tomorrow. Tomorrow they will work; tonight they just want a little sleep. But tomorrow isn't the kind of day they expect. Tonight isn't the kind of night they expect. After only a relatively short time, their lives aren't even what they've become accustomed to. We are so often asked to wait patiently, but because we have our own plans and own ideas about what needs to progress, we miss out on some very special time with Jesus. We will never have to experience what the disciples did that night in the garden, however we must learn the lesson: When Jesus asks us to stay and rest yet remain alert, we must do so. We don't know what we may be called to do afterwards.

Well...speaking of waiting...it took your front page a loooong time to load. In fact, I don't think I ever finished. Stupid dial up. Otherwise it's very nice. Don't think I'll have time to look into any time soon.
I LOVE that photo of Cole in the tent... Our son Tommy was about that exact same age when we went camping for the first time. My first problem was that at home, since we don't have doors separating the rooms (a unique layout of the house), I had become acustomed to putting Tommy outside when he had a fit...rain or shine. He couldn't come in until he quieted down. Soooo, now here we were surrounded by...the OUTSIDE...where was I gonna put him if he had a fit? Hahahah...I put him in the car. Worked quite well actually. We also kept him busy pounding big nails into the picnic table bench, which I tragically realized half way home, we had neglected to remove before we left.
Good times...
Interesting look, but the left column is crowded and I feel distracting from the daily post and photgraphs,
LUV the picture of Cole...makes me want to give him a big HUG
We'll tell yall when we have come to a solid decision. I promise
If you don't have a photo like that don't worry about it ;-D
However, if you don't, I may then request the use of a photo you posted a while back (like last summer) of a flag, in black and white.
The new layout seems okay....but still not as much fun as playing with it yourself.
Waiting, watching, and being alert, is difficult with all the distractions we have, even being prepared in season and out is difficult. I realized the other day as I was talking to my sister in law that if I hope to reach an unsaved person, no matter how logically they try to see the world that dealing with them logically and by using words and reason will simply not work, for me anyway, and that the best option is just a lifestyle, just action.
