  • A Shorty, In-between Days, Final Animal Photos

    Quick
I'm so enjoying my wife having a two-week spring break!  I feel like I have freedom to get things done.  Getting things done can be a little difficult with a two-year old running around, so I understand why stay-at-home parents feel like they don't get alot accomplished.  But I'm going to be running late for a meeting if I don't head out now (this actually is the last part of my post I'm typing), so there's the extent of my deep-thoughts in this paragraph.  Would you be willing to do a warm-weather dance so spring could return?

    Resurrection Day +1
By now, everyone knew of the tomb that stood empty.  The same one that had the Roman guard and the Roman seal.  Stories of the appearances had spread, as had the stories to explain the whole matter.  Either way, no one questioned the empty tomb because they saw it for themselves.  What do you do in the following days though?  What if you are one of those followers who saw and spoke with Jesus?  Certainly life does not return to normal... whatever normal is after following Jesus.  But the teacher isn't there teaching each day any longer.  But the teacher is the Son of God!  What now?  Where to next?  For nearly two months, things slowly come together.  For nearly two months, Jesus and the Spirit prepare them.  For nearly two months, the course of the rest of their lives and ours slowly reveals itself.  At the feast of Pentecost, they begin to preach His message, but nearly two months pass where so much changes.  More this week...
