Speaking Out and Photo Story Adventures
Outspoken
"...and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8). There's two implications here, and neither are very hidden. The first is obvious in the word witness: someone who has seen and can verify events that occurred. What's the event(s)? The work of Jesus. His work amongst the people, His death on the cross, His resurrection, His ascension, His work in each of their lives... The second implication? The other side of being a witness: testifying as in a court about the actions. We're not asked to be silent about the work Jesus did then and the work He does now in our lives. To claim to have a relationship with Him comes with a level of responsibility. There's no room for silence. If you need a starting point, it isn't in scholarly studies in Bible, history, theology or anything of the sort. The starting point is what He did in you. Start there, then work out. But the key idea is to DO.The Continuing Adventures of G and Cman
My apologies for the lack of posts over the weekend. But as promised, another photo story. The quality and sizing is off because they were taken with the on-hand camera phone (2 megapixel, so good but still not the 12 megapixels of the camera). I will do my best to post some this week, but it is a mirror of last week. Life will be back to "normal" after that... Did you ever run away from home when you were little (or maybe older)?

G and Cman plan their foolproof escape. Before long, they're off in the H2 (mini).
But the route is soon cut off by a railroad with a passing train.
They take jobs working on the railroad. But after making threats and demanding more money (not to mention child labor laws), they're soon fired

They decide to head back to where they started,
where the juice and smiles are plentiful.

Oh I just love the "Outspoken" paragraph, it reminds me that we are not to be silent when it comes to our faith in Jesus. That is not what he wanted us to do.
Way cute pics! I love the one of the boys in the H2 with a train passing. Ha!
Have a great day, Jason!
LUV the tales of G anbd Cman! Especially their get away vehicle. lol
only a dad would let them "work" on a railroad track.
I ran away for a day when I was 19, came home when it got dark
Did you ever run away from home when you were little (or maybe older)? Well ... yes ... but I was four, and I got to the end of my block and decided I would probably be kidnapped. So I turned right back around and never cared about running away again.
