Back off, don't pull on me...
don't tug or paw or hang on me.
I am flesh, blood underneath
I feel each pinch and twist.Back off, do not crowd me...
don't box or squeeze or squish me.
I am Spirit, my soul within.
I fly in open air.Back off, don't rush me...
do not push or cajole me.
I am quiet, peace unmoved.
I thrive in solitude.

This is truly lovely, and honest.
We need room to express our peacefulness. I find it lofty to say "find peace in your stress." Of course, peace can be found in the most trying of times, but peace comes from boundaries - ground rules. We have to set them for ourselves, no one else can do that for us. We need to be firm in what we want, even with those we love.
Working towrds that. Looking forward to the day, soon hopefully, where I get there, or close(r) to it anyway...
rest the camera on the rail or post or wall... :frustrated:
 This morning i realized i missed silence and was without silence because i did not give myself any. Sounds like a similar place.
Silence is much needed in our worlds...I have too much noise pollution where I work...so that is why I runaway every so often

Great poem...
RYC: Thanks!! :lip_kiss: I think you are rather beautiful too, though I think I said that in an earlier comment. Have a relaxing weekend!
I'm saving this one.
