It is so dire that I think the same.
My reassurance is your validation?
Your God is right, is might
My God is false. Period.

But, Jesus loves me,
This you know.
I know this too,
From Him, not you.

Surprise, surprise...
god is God.
Everybody's right,
Everybody's wrong.

Bible is the book God wrote.
A good one, but not the only one.
He writes today,
Clear the fog of incense and read.

How dare I? you say.
I say, Dare I not?
What if you are wrong?
Ah, what then shall be said to comfort you...

Perhaps, Jesus Loves You.

That reminds me of this bracelet I have that says "Happy Birthday Jesus!" I also have one that says "F.R.O.G" and I didn't realize it meant fully rely on God so I was really confused.

i've already been told once by the wife of a local tv youth minister that she was sorry that she wouldn't be seeing me in heaven.
i wrote her back and told her i wasn't aware that God had died and left her in charge but that i was glad she set me straight. i never heard back. i don't think she thought i was a good pen pal.

i'm waiting around to see the end. i think it'll be interesting. i'm all about the getting along stuff and not judging. i just hope i'm right. (HAH! i typed write) (sleep deprevation at it's finest)

and now? i'm humming "jesus loves me this i know..."

You're nicer than me! I think the Bible has been meddled with by man too much- but lovely stories, symbols and some spiritual truths.

But, anyway Mama, good stuff! Hear hear! :clap: We've all run into a self-righteous religious person or two. Unfortunately sometimes it's people you really love...

Great thoughts. It's hard to find people who are both religous and not ignorant. Very few follow what is written but the examples of how to act. Instead of lisening to do not kill, they decide to kill.

The secret is to live by the precepts and make judgements that help everyone.

Awesome poem. At camp once when I was 7 some girls told me that I would go to Hell because I never had been to church. I wasn't extremely sad because I didn't know what Hell was. Anywho. they should read your poem.
