Today's moment of finding beauty...
...in the simplistic perfection of Nature.
Yes, I know these photos show the home of wasps or hornets, not exactly the most hospitable of creatures. Look, though, at how much work had to go into building this nest, about the size of a really big cantaloupe. We will probably be removing this, as the wasps are beginning to enter our home (this tree is out front). I had to swat six of them in the same room yesterday afternoon. But, oh what a natural wonder their own home is! You'd think they'd be happy to stay there.
