  • Dear Mr. President...
Another day, another reason to be ashamed of you and everything you represent (including your version of Amurika).
I am ashamed that, in this country, Paris Hilton can serve days in jail for driving without a license but Cheney's pal Libby can commit treason and not serve a day.
He must have some pretty good stuff on you and your Vice President/head of secret branch of US government.  You managed to ensure that Libby won't tell his tales.
You manage pretty nicely that way in general, don't you?
Someday though, authentic history will show the truth about you.  History will outlive you and your crooked family.  History will outlive the USA, for that matter.  And I believe that when history tells its tale about the beginning of the end of the United States of America, you will feature prominently.  Your legacy will be that of being instrumental in the degradation and annihilation of all our basic principles, written in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution.
You should be tried as a war criminal.
You should be tried for obstruction of justice.
    You should be impeached.
    You should be in prison.
But that will not happen, I've lost hope that you can or will be stopped.  I've lost hope that the next election will bring much better.
    And so it begins.
Now, I just pray.  I pray that your evil and moronic self has not utterly destroyed the futures of the world, my country, my children, and potential grandchildren.

With all the respect you are due, Mr. President, should there actually be a hell with pitchforks and fire and brimstone (which I am sure you believe there is)...  may you slowly roast there for all eternity as payment for the destruction and death you have wrought in this world.  But first, may you get a taste of all that is not hell, and on your way, pass through a receiving line of every person in the world who has lost his or her life or livelihood because of your illegal war and presidency.

    Sincerely,
    JennyG
    Mother, voter, proud American.

The 48th SFS has lost a great asset, and a great person. While on patrol in Iraq, A1C Jason Nathan was manning the Turret weapon in a Humvee and the vehicle was hit by an Improvised Explosive Device. A1C Nathan took the brunt of the blast on the outside of the vehicle because he was in the turret, and was flown out of the AOR to a contingency base for medical treatment, but was pronounced dead before he reached the hospital.

This is of course only one of the stories of things that happen in the sandbox we call the middle east. I know things like this happen every day, and some people make it out, and some people don't. My prayers go out to everyone in the AOR, and to everyone supporting those people.

Pass this one on and write down your name and base below to show your thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

    Rest in peace Jason xx

    Jenny,

I love your passion and convictions. I was with you right up until you mentioned "pitchforks." That made me laugh... a lot!

    :D

    Have a great evening!

My father and I were discussing this tonight. The guy doesn't have anything to lose by doing this. Lowest approval ratings in the country. No one trusts him, and he can't run for office again. He can do whatever he wants with your country for the next year...and he isn't accountable to anyone.

I am pretty much ready for a change.. Good bye Mr. President. Democrat or Republican..

  • Mystic_In_Training
Gosh.  That's awfully harsh.  I think he's pretty insane, too, but I don't think he's evil.  Just... stupid and terribly, terribly lost.  That he has the power to do massive amounts of damage is heartbreaking, yes, but I can't hate him any more than I can hate any other fellow human.

And yet you're right... just praying is all we can do at this point
  • farmerswife

Ok, I can't let this one pass unnoticed.  All I'm going to say is this:

I can say the EXACT same thing about another person.  Bill Clinton.  He pardoned many that had done alot more that Libby did.  But I guess those rules don't apply to demo'rats.  And his %&*$% of a wife is trying to run for president.  HA!

Sorry, but someone has to stick up for Bush.  Even if I totally opposed his immigration bill, I'll still stick up for him.

  • soul_survivor
I do not think that anyone actually *has* to stick up for shrub... That is honestly like sticking up for Hitler... or the next best thing. And poor Bill? He doesn't come anywhere close to doing what this horrible creature has done. He was less than discreet in his private life (although that by FAR should not have warranted an impeachment, that Bush has not been impeached astounds me) and every politician helps out their buddies whether we like it or not. It's all part of their "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" thing. At least Bill stood up for what was right and abolished some bills that were prejudicial and other things equally as RIGHT RIGHT. I don't know what George has done this time and I don't think I can bear to even look.
  • EminemsRevenge
Impeaching Bush only leads to legitimizing Chaney's presidency...and it's too little too late...the damage is done

While i'm not 100% PRO-Hillary, she seems to be the only salvation if Giuliani fades in the stretch.

If we want love and compassion and understanding...I think we must first be it. We are only human, true, but that is the true rub...the art of transcending mere humanity. That is when the lines between 'good' and 'evil' blur tremendously. But then, if we are not trying to be human, then what exactly are we trying to be?

Once you remove the title of President, once you set aside the starched politician's suit, there is only but a man. A man with a family. A man with two very young daughters. What makes us better than him if we refuse to lend him the common decency of being human? Are we trying to deviate degrees of compassion?

He is only but a man and this too shall pass.
  • That_Bob_Guy

It's getting a little late in the game for impeachment (both have to be done at once).  Maybe we can count on criminal charges brought against both by the post-bush regime AG.

  • mammaquiet

I couldn't agree with you more. This is a disgusting situation.

Thank you.  You are the only person who spoke against the machine all day to me.  Nobody else has the guts or backbone to look America in the eye and tell her that her ass looks big in that dress.  Maybe she'll go change.
