Something's growing!
Could be peas, could be beans... I can't remember which I planted here.
And I think Miss J. snuck a few sunflower seeds in the pot as well.
I'll be sorting and transplanting these seedlings after Mother's day, should they survive the colder evenings and potential (though unlikely) of frost.
What I believe is a sunflower sprout.
And some crazy soft green somethings are growing where I threw wildflower seeds last year, though nothing came from them then. We'll see what these are, even if they are weeds they are prettier than mulch chips this time of year.
The last to bloom and last to die of my spring flowers. Next year I should get a more abundant and lengthier bloom as I thinned out the bulbs this year. Too much overcrowding in some places and nothing to look at in others. Next year's spring show should be pretty nice to see.
I have a thing for stamens and pistils.
These are so pretty, much prettier than this photo. I love these (I do not retain the names of flowers... or anything... well), all fluffy and creamy... like they must taste of icing.
The new colors I planted last autumn. These are the last of the tulips.
Next I shall plant some annuals to last through the summer.
Then I can focus entirely on my tomatoes.
Today I've got dirt under my fingernails and all is right with the world.
Good night.

Hey, I know PEAS when I see them!!
@soNOTcool -
Ah, peas. Thank you.
I was beginning to wonder about your garden, because you usually guide us through the process of planning and planting. :) Your flowers are gorgeous. I can't remember ever seeing purple tulips...I've seen yellow and red, though.
Anyway, I can't wait to see the summer plants in full bloom!
This post made me smile
"all fluffy and creamy... like they must taste of icing." --- yes
and...
your season is WELL ahead of mine... we're still at crocus stage
Beautiful!
.::Does the happy dance::.
I Love Jenny's Garden ...
How cool!!! Such beautiful flowers!
Love the purple tulips!
I always wondered what happened to plants if you didn't kill them while lovingly overcaring for them lol....
My thumb may be brown but I can plant a fake flower like the best of them!
