Another day...
- My bedroom is halfway completed. Ed is an great painter, meticulous about the details to the point that I wonder if I should put him out of his misery, but a great painter. I am so excited to have a real bedroom, with real decor, in colors that move me (and Ed... and honestly, how many men would let their wives choose red and lavender for the bedroom much less dig it as much as she does?).
- Today has felt like winter's last gasp. I hope so. Chronic rain and cold (last night Ed threatened to turn on the heat, while I slept with the window open and the fan on propeller strength). It did not drop to frost temps, so my garden is safe.
- My oldest is trying out for level four gymnastics again on Friday night. Some of you may remember that she tried out and made it before, but wasn't ready for the commitment and decided not to move up. Now she thinks she's ready. Her coaches approached her last weekend, and they are letting her try out by working out with the team on Friday (there was a group tryout on Sunday, but they want to observe her alone). I hope she enjoys herself, and if she makes the team and wants to join, I'll figure some way out to pay for it. If, for whatever reason, she does not join the team then she is welcome to remain where she is. The coaches were very clear about that, which was a great relief to A. and seemed to make the difference in her wanting to try out. Well, that and the fact that I said I would sit and watch her for the whole three hours. I'm going to bring a pillow for my butt, those metal bleachers bruise my tender buttocks.
- We are waiting for one final approval, if that comes then we will be full speed ahead for all things coffee. If not, then we will have to begin the worst case scenario process. We've been waiting since yesterday. I don't expect anything until Wednesday. Ed expected to hear something last Friday (patient man that he is). I am confident.
- Therapy with J. this morning. Things are going very well. We had some intense regression after a month of missed sessions, but after being back in a therapy routine things have quickly returned to "normal." She is relating well to Miss Kathleen, as am I.
- Nothing other than the usual business going on here. Grandparents returning the family fold, on both sides. Youngest making potions in the mud. Oldest practicing headstands (I'm always talking to her feet).
- Hot shower and finishing my book are on my agenda for the rest of the night (as well as many games of scrabulous).
Good night.

I have to commend A for being mature enough to know she didn't want the commitment. I am 47 and not sure I have that discipline
Good luck to Miss A!!
"I'm always talking to her feet" made me smile
Watch "Desperately Seeking Susan" and notice Roberta & Gary's bedroom. I thought master bedrooms' paint/decor were always the wife's choice and imminent domain. If the guy likes it too, that can be a bonus, but not always
Oldest practicing headstands (I'm always talking

Reminds me of the question "Why do our noses run, and our feet smell?"
Good Luck to A with the Jimmy Nastiks!
I am going to stop by tomorrow morning. I have a bag of stuff the girls left here at our sleepover, and I am going to BJ's. Need anything?
@twinmom - Fine. Nope, thanks.
