The 323 seller disappeared. He hasn't responded to my email requesting a place to meet. I guess I won't be seeing it this weekend. I was prepared for disappointment, but this was sooner than I expected. At least I didn't blow my weekend by planning around it. It's for the best that I not buy another car. I need to save up.

I think I might turn my dad's '96 Windstar into my next project. Ever seen the turbocharged drag-Caravan? That thing is ridiculuous. No reason I couldn't do the same with the more aerodynamic Windstar. I'll strip down the interior and replace the glass with Lexan for starters. Then I'll turbocharge, relocate the radiator & battery, add a front-mount intercooler, mess around with alternate suspension geometries, and see if I can't make a decent track car out of it. Maybe I'll even try relocating the motor behind the front seats. That would make a very longitudinally balanced car. I'll even play around with the paint. It needs body work on the driver's side door. I'm thinking black with true-flames on the nose and running along the sides.
