My older brother knows nothing about Chinese culture at all. For one thing, he can't distinguish the difference between different Chinese dialects or Asian languages in general.

Jonas: Did you hear about the earthquake in China?
Mom: Yes, but it's not the part we're from.
Jonas: Yeah, it was around Szechuan.
Brother: Where's that?
Jonas: Do you even know where anything in China is?
Brother: No ...
Jonas: So you've only heard of Szechuan because of
Szechuan beef?
Brother: Yeah. *Laughs*
Jonas: So I guess the only other cities you've heard of are:
Fukien fried rice,
Shanghai dumplings, and
Peking spare ribs. Oh, and you might as well toss in some
Mongolian beef.
Brother: Yup.
