Helen and Scott

Well it's a bit early in the morning but I'm still up. Jin and I decided to start sleep training the twins and we are on night two. It's so hard to just sit and listen to your kids cry and not rush in to comfort them. I just want to go in the other room and calm Christian down by giving him what he wants, his bottle of milk, but I know that we need to see this through. I wonder who's really getting trained here?
It is getting better though. Last night the twins cried for two hours straight and woke up 4 times. Tonight it only took 45 minutes and they've awoken twice so far but it seems they have learned to calm themselves down and go back to sleep. So far so good. Maybe Jin and I will once again know what uninterrupted night of sleep is like!
Since I'm still up I decided to blog a post and share a few finished pictures from Helen & Scott's wedding.
This wedding was mixed with elements of traditional and non traditional. I think that it really suited their personalities. Though they both appreciate traditional and formal settings, they also have that adventurous side that I talked about that put a bit of a twist on their wedding.

This was a whole new experience for me as I've never been to a wedding held on a beach. It was a bit challenging to shoot the ceremony with the constantly changing lighting and the natural elements of the beach, but it was also cool not being confined inside of a building and constrained by it's walls.

Congratulations again Helen and Scott! Thank you for allowing me to capture your marriage day! I had so much fun with you guys in Mexico! God Bless your marriage and I look forward to many more years of memories.

yeah, shooting an event at the beach is so much harder than people know. the lighting is tough to deal with at times and gorgeous at other times. it's pretty obvious you did one heck of a job with their wedding. it's so neat to see helen again.
great shots! random question, but what did you wear for this shoot? i have a beach wedding coming up and was wondering if i could get away with sandals :)

ditto to Gizi's comment... glad that you are sharing since it is good to see their wedding pic. ;)
Great shots. I love that the bride and groom are wearing slippers.

NICE NICE NICE!!! good job joo! i can't wait to see the album...
coaching a couple how to pose is a challenge itself. and to add the whole beach/direct sun factor adds another level of challenge. way to get through it! you're a champ!
