Jordan's Things

The other night, we cleaned our bedroom and rearranged... the only thing left for me to do was to go through Jordan's baby dresser. I had put so much of her stuff in there. The milar balloons from her baby shower, cards from the shower, sympathy cards... so much stuff. So, I pulled it all out last night. I put all her things into a box, just waiting for the Cedar Chest my mom is finishing up making for me. I put my *Happy 30th Birthday* cards in with her stuff too... since she died just a couple weeks (if that) after my birthday, it seemed like a good place for them. Her pictures, our hospital ID bracelets, the poems I printed from the internet... I did my share of shedding tears. I even put all the dried roses from her memorial service in the box. Her clothes are there, too.

It feels good to have a place for her things. It feels good to know that she had some things to save.

I cleaned up her dresser, which is now Teigen's dresser, and re-organized all the things. I brought up the John Lennon Lamp we'd bought for Jordan, and am so excited to have it set up for Teigen now. It was our favorite lamp. I turned it on and called Bob into the room to show him... poor daddy... made his eyes water too... and he just rubbed my belly...
