According to doctor_tsuzuki (who is my best real life friend) FFXI is worth every penny.  I havn't actually played it cause I'm broke, but I've watched her play it.  I really want to get it when I am finished paying for my bike and cosplay stuff.  Ask her what it's like if you wanna know more details (you'll see her at the bottom of my friend list)

As for the costumes....doctor_tsuzuki and I are a cosplaying team.  She makes the cloth parts of the costume (cause she can sew and not die in the process), and I make the props.  She's going as Cloud, and I'm going as Sephiroth.  Which is funny, cause I am more uke-ish than her XDD  But anyways because we work as a team, we work on each other's costumes...her armour is being a bitch to make...
