Here are pictures from a bible study teaching about purity in our lives, using Gods word and a book called The Princess and The Kiss that Stephanie, Jessica and myself are doing with some beautiful woman of God and their daughters... I would like to add that I am blessed to call these woman my friends; they are amazing woman that love the Lord Jesus with all their heart and want to glorify Him in every aspect of their lives....I am thankful to God for allowing them in my life as true examples of godly woman!!!

We started this a couple of weeks ago and will be working on it through the summer.

All the girls are enjoying this study, they are diligently learning their memory verses, and learning how God has made us special...

Here is a quote from The Princess & The Kiss:

Long ago, in a wonderful castle on a mountain of splendor, a beautiful princess was born. Her parents were the king and queen of the mountain and all the green valley below.

The king and queen loved the little princess even before she was born. On the day she came into the world the royal couple gave their daughter a very special gift from God-- her first kiss.

While the princess was growing up the king and queen kept this precious gift safe in their care......

When the princess was finally grown, the king and queen called her to their side. "We have something very special to give you," said the queen....

God gave this gift to you on the day you were born,” said the queen, because he loves you so dearly.” And now,” continued the king, this kiss is yours to keep... or to give away, as you see fit.” The princess stared in amazement. She had never before received such a wonderful present.

But use wisdom, my daughter,” warned the king, and save your kiss for the man you will marry. Never part with it for the sake of a stranger.”

The wise little princess took her father’s words to heart and kept the kiss safe in the castle tower. But there were many days when she went to gaze at her precious possession. She wondered bow she could ever give it up.

That looks so sweet. You know you can see Christ on the faces of pure and innocent children. Keep up the good work, there is an eternal reward.

Kelster....that is so awesome!!!! You are an incredible woman and such a great example not only to your daughters, but to these other women and their daughters...and to all of us here in xangaland. :) That is so awesome! Hey.....glad you like it. I forgot to put in my note that ID-RA-HA-JE stands for I'd Rather Have Jesus......but I probably told you that, or you probably knew that already. Anyway....its not much, but wanted you to have it. :) And, YES, I'm so glad you posted that great pic! I don't love the way I look either right now, but it is just how it is and my kids don't care. My hubby might as he is stick thin......actually very muscular....hardly any body fat! UggghhH!! Its not fair!!!! :cry: Anyway...I digress....... :giggle: Loving your posts and what you are doing for your girls and your community. YOU ROCK SISTAH!

2nd girl! WOW~~ I was way behind....18th or something. Off to bed at a decent time finally. Got the last of these past 2 weeks of swim lessons in the morning then I need to go down to "town" (meaning Denver) and get some things for our Care Group which meets on Tuesdays at our house. It is going to be the 4th and all of these counselors are away from home, as are we.....so we are going to make a ton of homemade ice cream for them. Also, going to get some red, white and blue glow in the dark necklaces for them to wear around camp. Won't that be fun? I hope to make it fun for them for the 2 hours they are here since they are away from home. Also have to get a bd present for one of Matt's friends. Matt comes home from camp Saturday (its such a long way home for him hee hee) and then he turns around and goes to this party, so I need to get something for this boy. I'm not sure what to get him. He is going to be either 13 or 14...must be 13 since Matt just turned 13. He is from a Catholic family and doesn't attend church regularly. We are trying to get him to come to camp with Matt this summer.......anyway, I don't know what to get him. :) He got Matt the Chronicles of Narnia game for his Nintendo DS for Matt's birthday. Any suggestions? Guess I'll sleep on it. Love ya friend! Susan
