I've been tagged by Smithzonian

... it's a "book" tag.

Book Tag

1. Grab the nearest book to you

2. Open to page 123, look down to the 5th sentence

3. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog

This, then, is the part of every child in the home-life. This is the way in which children can do the most to make the home true and happy. It is the part of the parents to guide, to train, to teach, to mould the character.

That was from the book, Home-making by J.R. Miller

but I just can't leave it at those 3 sentences, so here is the rest of  the paragraph;

God holds them responsible for this. They must qualify themselves to do it. Then it is the part of the children to accept this guidance, teaching, training, and shaping at the parents' hands. When both faithfully do their part the home-life will be a sweet song of love; where either fails there will be discordant life, and the angel of blessing will not leave his benison of peace.

ok I will tag anyone who hasn't done this yet and is maybe having bloggers block lately and needs (wants)  something to blog about....

That is an excellent book. I read it in 2006 and have assigned it to Inky to read for school this semester. Blessings
