  I am finally credit card debt-free.  Sure I still got one relatively small, low-interest student loan but that I don't mind so much since it was an investment in an appreciating asset, i.e. me!  And I do owe a bit to the hospital for my exploding appendix incident from last summer, but they aren't charging me interest so that's not continually sucking the money from my wallet.
  
  Finally, no more credit card guillotines hanging over my head.  No more high interest bear traps latched onto my femur.  No more credit score destroying plastic toys lodged in my financial esophagus choking the life out of me.  Praise Jesus!
