I have been having trouble with my eyes for a few days.  Finally, Wednesday, I tried a new pair of contacts, but still didn't help any. So I figured it MUST be my eyes. Thursday I had one of the wonderful nurses at my office look at them to make sure I didn't have conjunctivitis (pink eye).  She looked at the left one and jumped three feet back all while saying I have 3 blisters on my eyeball!!!  I, of course, not being clinical, thought she was CRAZY!!  So I went to the owner of our company who is also an RN and she said the same thing and jumped back away from me.  So this morning I called my MD and got an appointment.  Everyone was wanting to look at it...even the secretary...lol  My doc scared the bejeezies out of me when I told her I didn't mind waiting til Monday to see an opthamologist.  She said "NO YOU CAN'T...you might have to be admitted to the hospital!!"  I freaked....ugh.  Got to the opthamologist office and he gave me EYEDROPS and said he wanted to see me again in a week.  I think that is when I finally started breathing again.  lol  You have to understand I am blind as a bat AND my job depends on me driving all over north houston and beyond....if anything happened to my eyes, I would just DIE!!  Made me start thinking that I would never be able to see my grandchildren....would have to rely on my hubby for just about EVERYTHING...even fixing my hair OHHHH NOOOOOOOO   That would be horrific.  I am so grateful for EYEDROPS and to Gena for finally mailing my coke bottle glasses back to me....hahahaha

have been in some excruciating pain the past couple of days.  woke up at 3am saturday morning with severe pain in the right side of my neck, shoulder and down my right arm.  i found some old vicodin i received in 2004 when i had my eblation.  took one, was able to sleep a few more hours but was still in pain when I woke up again. called my chiro, she was in and was able to work me in.  i was so stiff and leaning to the left.  she did her thing, i went home and rested the rest of the day. slept propped up on lots of pillows and actually felt good sunday, which was good cause we went to the astros game.  however this morning when i woke up, i was in pain again.  went to dr. stacey's office, had my therapy and adjustment, went to work and was in pain all day.  she says my vertebrae are rotated and missing some stuff between the discs.  the muscles tensed up to protect my spine and pinched a nerve in the process, which is causing the shooting electrical feeling pain in my right arm.  so i have to go in every day this week, then 3w3 then 2w2...that 3 times a week for 3 weeks..and 2 for 2.  anyway, i am hurting just to sit at this computer...the more i type the more i hurt.  so i won't be on for awhile until this subsides.  hubby has asked me to go see my pcp tomorrow just to make sure everything is what my chiro says it is. i have all the faith in her, but he just wants to be sure.  i will update as i can...but please pray this will be resolved quickly so i can get back to somewhat normal and be able to sleep again.
