  • We all have our issues and our grievances. And they are all unique to each of us.  For some people it is spending too money, or watching too much tv, or eating too much food, or saying unkind words, or lying, or anything else that may be a sin in our life.  Whatever it may be, it is something that we continually have to deal with and it is very apparent in our life.  I would like to be able to say that I can totally eliminate my issues, that I could, after I finish typing this, be able to say 'no' and not face those temptations. But Satan is going to be there and try to catch me off guard. He's there waiting for me to give in to him.  I wish that it didn't have to be that way, but those experiences can only make you stronger. (But it would be nice if I could just be strong without them!) I put the rubber band on my wrist again. (I took it off over the weekend) It is supposed to be a reminder to cut the sin out of my life.  It's somewhat working, but I have kind of gotten used to the rubber band being there, so it doesn't quite have the effect it once had.  It has lost it's 'newness,' so I'm not as careful as I once was.  Hmm... sounds familiar.
