• I think that I may stop volunteering to do things-- I guess I should explain:

  I was going to videotape one of my students for their parents and I had assumed that I could put it on DVD for them with my computer. Well, I assumed wrong, and burned it to an Audio cd, instead of a DVD video. And I sent it home to the parents without looking at it. I discovered this at 10 p.m. last night (after my parent emailed me) and thought it was the disks i was using, so I spent an hr afterwards on my computer trying to figure it out.  Then I thought that I could burn one at school with one of the computers and after about 2 hrs I decided to call our tech guy (after arriving at 7 this morning). He said that I couldn't burn a DVD using Itunes (which is what i had been using), but he could at his office (I should have called him 1st thing, rather than fiddling with it for 2 hrs). SO, i spent my lunch hr at his office waiting for it to burn, and it didn't get finished while i was there, so he had to bring it to me later.  Ah, just too much stress for me today. 

  They are predicting another storm this weekend. Our snow that we have isn't melted yet, and I'm getting a little tired of driving my car on it. My car doesn't do well with the dips! My school only has a 1/2 day of snow days left, so if we have any more snow days they will have to discontinue noon recesses for a couple weeks.  (Instructional time doesn't count if it's attached to lunch time.)
