Is there a deadline for entries? I have a few ideas rolling around but no time to put fingers to keyboard until this weekend.
can I get a big d'uh? Sorry- just re-read the "rules" and found the deadline. I'll be working away this weekend and be done by the 17th. *sigh* my only excuse for ignorance is stupidity!
@yearinthelife - lol You're fine. I'm glad you're going to participate. Looking forward to seeing what you have. :)
still working on mine. I'll get there I promise. It's almost done
Okay, I finally finished my entry and it is on my blog where you said to put it. The title is For LSB's Contest so it is kind of obvious. lol
My lady talked me into it. Here's mine.

I am so going to check out these entries. Is everyone going to post here that they have an entry up and posted and where, here, so we can check them out? Be nice if you could post a list of the entries with links to them now and again, too.
@DenverCowboy - It would be nice, too, if when folks
list the location of their entry they could embed the link with that
li'l button up there with the earth and chain link icon so poor ol'
fools with Parkinson's (like muah) could find them on the first try. Thank you.
@BADBOYDOOMDADDY - The links to the entries are right up there in the boxes. They sent me private messages with the links.
@Lady_Songbird - D'OH!!!
It's yearinthelife... I am using my other site where I put all of my creative writing. You'll find my entry there... thanks!
Over halfway done with my entry. It'll be posted soon.
RYC: yes it is, we have conversations from time to time about where else we could live, they all fall short in some ways to our eyes.
Hey, I wrote mine. http://www.xanga.com/JJM_MojoRisin/656663859/my-entry--the-hermit.html
My meager offering has been posted. http://weblog.xanga.com/Toker_G/656712339/the-tree.html
My entry...............A Hermit is posted here
Great stories!
I'd like to vote for Alive_in_Vegas and MamaInkWench. I hope I can vote for a person in different categories??
Great site by the way!
@DaBombMom2 - You surely can. :) thank you
I'm voting for MamaInkWench and Alive_in_Vegas....
@ddp040 - Thanks for voting
I'm here to vote for my Bro. Alive in Vegas and for my fun friend MamaInkWench. Can I vote for both of them!? They are two of my favorite Xanga writers! And they are sweet friends who put up with ME!
Did I just vote with my comment??! Or do I need to press some button or submit some ballot?!?!
so lady_songbird, is there a certain criteria for these entries? As in, must they be rated pg, or can i submit something a bit more nc-17? What's the judging based on anyways? (Aside from the expected points for grammatically correct and accurately spelled pieces.)
@talentedtiffany - It is wide open. YOu may write in any genre. My only rule is no hate speech. Judging is left to the readers, and yes grammatically correct wording and spelling is a must. The whole idea of the contest it to inspire people to write, so enjoy yourself.
