Yesterday was fun.
I went out to check the mail, and there was a package for me!

And super soft, too. I'm working on clearing out the washer queue so I can wash them all up.
Then while we were returning a crackly comforter to TJMaxx (it sounded like it had a layer of plastic *in* the comforter, not even close to being soft and cuddly) we found a little something for ds:
I think the restaurant we were hanging out at on Friday had the same exact pots and pans. Now to figure out a makeshift stove/kitchen for ds so he doesn't try to use my stove.
We've been on the hunt for a toy bench for a while, and...
Yay! Ds was trying to destroy the nice wicker basket we used to use for all his toys in the living room and it was driving me nuts. So now we have nice storage, and even extra seating when we have more people over.

So for the rest of the day I get to try and keep up on housework and help dh get all packed up and ready to go. Poor guy has to get up at 4am tomorrow for work. Right now he's pulling a bunch of wood to the front door from the side of the house and chopping up some kindling for me.
So unfortunately, he's probably going to sleep in the guest room again tonight so he can actually get some sleep - ds has taken to dh's side of the bed lately. As long as we all get some sleep I suppose.
