Sleeping toddler! Yay!
Appraisal guy came by today. Poor guy's last name is Sprinkle. I felt bad for giggling when I was told his name on the phone, but at least I wasn't mean about it.
But he was really nice, and didn't mind ds trailing after him through the entire house. He even became one of ds's best friends when he played peek-a-boo unintentionally with ds. Pretty funny.
What was *really* amusing though is when the appraisal guy rang the doorbell. Well, usually the only people that ring the doorbell are Grandmas and the occasional girl scout. So ds gets all excited chanting "Gamma! Gamma! Gamma!" down the stairs, only to learn it's neither Grandma - it's a complete stranger.
I've also been slacking on finishing ds's longies in favor of the smaller, cuter newborn longies I'm crocheting. They're absolutely adorable. No photos yet, mostly because I'm lazy and feel bad that I haven't finished ds's yet.
I've also put in a call to one of our favorite restaurants to see if they'll share their Clam Chowder recipe with me. I'm definitely not any kind of competition (heh, the last time I washed my tablecloth was last week - ds has since left his mark on it again), and dh says it's the best clam chowder he's ever had. Even though he's lived on the east coast on and off throughout the years. *I* even like it, and I'm not a big fan of clam chowder anyway. So hopefully I'll have another yummy recipe to try out sometime soon. Hopefully.
How's that for Valentine's Day randomness?
