Yard harvest from sometime last week.

The apple pie with canned pie filling. You know, to test it out. I believe 14 more quarts are on the horizon. I didn't get to do squat yesterday except cut up some peaches for dinner.

He decided my grandmother's apron (yeah, I'm not fond of half-aprons, I make too much of a mess) was a fantastic cape. So I tied it up for him and he whooshed through the house.

Yes, you can see the blackberry stains as I haven't washed it yet.
Dh made my heart go pitter patter the other day. Tentative plans are for him to build a little 8'x10' shed in the corner of the yard - with the fence, the orange-berried tree, evergreen trees and clothesline boxing it in. With the shed over there...

Dh's idea was that when he takes down this canopy thing (the current "shed"), we can just turn that area into more garden! Not raised bed(s), but I don't care.

His description was like a return-type thing off the original garden.

That's easily another 10'x20' of garden.

Because the potatoes got larger than I expected (hell, I didn't know what to expect, I'd never seen a potato plant before in my life), and I probably should rotate things like onions and tomatoes and beans and such so I don't kill/deplete the soil. Much easier to rotate crops when you have space.

Aww, what a cute little superhero!
When are your purple carrots coming up? I didn't miss them, did I?
I'm so jealous of the zucchini! mine have produced in days b/c they are suffering so bad. I hate mildew.
