Wheee, packages! I love getting packages in the mail.
Sure, hubby thinks I'm nuts when I (accidentally) ask him to get the mail 3 times when he walks in the door for lunch, but

Today's bounty...

Seeds from Baker Creek, some seeds from Cathy (thank you!!), and the elastic and aplix to repair the crappy bumGenius and the Fuzzi Bunz with shot elastic.
Yes, I was a fan of bG's for a while. Then I kept using them rather than selling them. After maybe 1.5 years of constant use on just one kiddo
(only occasionally used them on the older one), the laundry tabs behind the ass don't work (diaper snakes!), the front tabs disintegrate
(luckily I ordered a bunch of the tab fix repair kits before they stopped offering them so I have a handful on hand still), and the leg elastic is pretty much shot on most of them - some have no stretch, some have a little stretch. Sure, I'm okay with replacing leg or even waist elastic on the 3-4yo Fuzzi Bunz we've got, but 1.5yo bumGenius? Blech. Not recommending those anymore. They just don't hold up. Especially if your argument for buying them is to have diapers to last through more than half a kiddo.

So I've turned into a freaky Suzy Homemaker - repairing diapers, making felt food, reveling in my seed greed, etc. Oh, and dreaming of a little acreage and planting a ton of fun apple trees.

On a petty note, I am happy to hear what you have to say about BG. I am a cuddlebuns / aristocrats woman myself, but I am happy to buy them second (or third! LOL) hand. I have a "friend" who would sneer at my laundering skills and praise her diaper selections because her brand new BGs would look well, brand new. Mine were on their fourth and fifth year of wear, so some of them weren't so purty anymore. But they sure caught pee just like they should! :)
