Ahem, just thought you'd like that.  SO, I have too much on my mind to take account for and it's all driving me nuts.  Anyways, first on my list, and yes, you're getting the list!  My art teacher, we'll call her The Whore, has the worst mentality of grading that you could ever have!!  She chooses quantity over quality and doesn't quite understand what the hell "Independent Art" means.  Here, allow me to explain.  Ind. Art allows the artist to build up their strengths in their praticular subject with out time contriants or constant, constant, constant research of things unrelated and wasteful allowing them to work at their own pace producing QUALITY work!  Yet, instead, I have a lazer eyed whore breathing down my neck asking me for 15 projects by the end of the semester!!  It's ten projects that have to be due by the end of the semester for one class 5 of which the research topics are chosen by her (see Ind. Art definition above).  That, and if you have 2 ind. art classes you have ten more!  If I had 3 then I'd have 30 flarking projects due!!  SO I have 1 class and one 9 weeker so I get to do 15.  Whoopidyfreakindue! 

Anyways, you can see how hard it is for anyone to work with this many things due so I haven't been able to turn in a lot of my work.  That and every 2 week she expects a project to be turned in (with me in would be 2 every 2 weeks) and that's just not enough time!!  Not with all the detail that goes into my pieces.  Plus, I picked 2 art ind. for a reason - so I could play to my stengths (which I found in found objects) and make them into large scale projects and now none of us are given enough time to finish anything, least of all me!!  GRR!!  So today, as I sat miserably (from something else) working on my sculpture, The Whore decides to tell me my grades in my 3rd and 4th hours. 

Now, skimming back to the past for a moment (speaking of skim, I drank sour milk at lunch today :()~~ ) all of my past art classes have been high A's (not counting the B I got in Basic Art freshman year and the B I got just last semester in my other independent which annoyed me).  So, she tells me what I have missing (no suprise) and that I have a D in my 4th hour and an F for FLIPPIN FANTASTIC in my 3rd hour.  I told her how I felt but I knew she didn't care because for teachers like her it's her way of the high way and it just pisses me off that an art teacher can be so freakin close minded!!

So I tell her that i was going to write up some proposals in the library to prevent myself from ripping our her hair and I just went up there to a back table in cried silently for the whole hour.  How freaking lame was that.  I just sat and cried and groweled and blew my nosey and cried some more until I couldn't anymore.  But today, after work, I called Mrs. R, (the best art teacher in the entire world) my old art teacher, because she called to remind me about Krazl and Expo (Kelly you need to register) and I talked to her about everything.  Well, she's awesome and she gave me some great ideas (just give The Whore some easy sketches with research as projects and do my sculptures at home for the shows and for portfolio).  

So, I feel better having written all of this (though I doubt anyones will have the patience to sit through the whole thing) and I'll just remember to "always look at the bright side of life" and to keep my head up front and center ;).  Anyways, I  think I'm going to take a friend up on an old housing offer.  I also wish that people would be a little bit more loyal to their friends (even if they dissagree, stand up a speek out!!) and I really wish that people would learn when it's right to bring things up and when it's wrong to.  Even if it's wrong of me to comment, oh well, some things just really irritate me.
