Joy McCarnan, a friend from my BJU days, writes a beautiful blog about her life at karagraphy.com. ["The study of joy" -- get it? ]

Her latest post touches on the issue of racial reconciliation in the Church, especially as it concerns the recent movement among Bob Jones University alumni to petition the University to make a public apology for its dark history of racism.  Few of us fault the University for intentionally sinning, but many of us feel that changing the policies without any kind of confession or visible repentence was wrong.

But the reason I bring this up --
Her statement at the end of the blog post (it's a short post) about BJU is balanced and beautiful. So few people get it right when it comes to BJU, a lightning-rod among Christians and non-Christians.  Joy is one of the few.

And if you are a BJU alumnus, please consider signing the petition. We all took a vow at graduation ... let's take it seriously

None of us get anything done anymore because we spend most of our time being interrupted (email, cell phone, text message, whatever) and then trying to regain our train of thought.  Whoa.... this article describes my life. haha
