RE: Sign on highway to Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

Did they take the sign down because of this blog?  I was driving to Manuel Antonio yesterday and I didn't see the "Oversized Home" sign!  If anyone sees it on their way to Manuel Antonio please post a comment to that effect.  I'm curious.  Matt

There is an even bigger sign in Esterillos, with a new name, Costa Estirillos.  I heard that Costa Montana in Tarcoles got busted for no permits, but cant confirm.  In the new project, in Esterillos, I saw an 18 wheeler truck leaving the property, turning onto the costanera, with huge tree carcasses in the evening.  I dont know how to contact Setena or Minae, but they should be notified about these ruthless developers.  I believe in embracing the environment, not paving it!  Please help bring these projects to justice.  Look at Jaco!  There is more neon and building cranes than most U.S. beach towns!  Thank the lord Manuel Antonio still has not suffered overdevelopment by the beach side.  Certainly the deforestation has to stop.  This is a great site, I really enjoy intelligent topics
