I was in Barnes & Nobles today and I saw this book called How to Film a Feature for Under $10,000 and not go to jail so I decide to check it out ans I read the first 3 chapters in the store and this book just rocks! It has tons of humor while being very helpful in ideas. Like in the forward, it mention a way to get the $10,000 to finance your film. First, you use you girlfriends credit card to go to Home Depot to by $10,000 worth of supplies to do a simple improvement to a kitchen, after you finish that. Go to your bank and take out a home equity loan and they'll have a loan officier come to house to evaulate it and he'll aprove it for at least $10,000 more then it cost you to do it. With that $20,000, pay off your girlfriends credit card (lol), and use the rest to finance your film. Pretty smart if you ask me. lol It alos had point of diffenet stuff on how to start. I love this book so far cause it adds humor to it. Go check it out if your a wannabe filmmaker like myself.
