School is going great! I still enjoy my classes, so that must be a good sign right? We got a lot of snow yesterday, it sure is pretty to look at, but boy is it cold. Next week is spring break....although going up to MI probably won't be any warmer, oh well! Hope you have a great weekend!

I am reading "Goodnight, Mr. Tom." It keeps using this word so I had the children look up how to pronounce it. I hate reading a word and not knowing how to pronounce it! It is the homeschool mom in me.

I'm highly jealous. My buddy and I want to see the Tigers and Injuns play in Cleveland this year. He says he'll have to yack on the sidewalk before entering what is now Progressive Field. We plan to wear State Farm shirts and see how many employees we can get to guffaw
I am not a baseball fan but really enjoyed seeing the Vols beat Memphis last night. I am going to be so sad when Chris graduates this spring. I hope he gets to do some NBA stuff. I have never watched that but if Chris is playing this community will go wild. I can imagine the jerseys being purchased now!!

Well, it was only one game. The ONLY one they've lost so far! They are still # 1 in our house! To answer your question about Grampy's to-do list, he ain't doin' so good. Course that's partly my fault, because I didn't put it in writing. Maybe I better get on that! He's really been busy w/work tho and his back has been killing him. So,maybe I'll go easy on him. You are right. Being NO. 1 is not all it's cracked up to be, but we love him anyway. Chris is just an exceptionally fine young man, Christian and it is a pleasure to know him. He has always been such a good kid. I will go back to being a UK fan next year. We have a senior that will be playing for them starting next year. His name is Darius Miller.

oh... i know. i got my notification last week. bummer. not to mention we also are all required an fbi backround check as well as the state. you'd think we make tons of money with the amount of money it costs to maintain a license!!
