Wow the pollen is out, so much so the truck now has this yellow tint all across the top and everything else that sits outside does too. So if you hear me sneezing that's why. ha ha Tomorrow is the Tribe vs. the Braves and I get to go. Come on along if you want. Woot for spring training. Hope all the Guys and Gals from the ville are enjoying their spring break. Saw this in the paper yesterday and you know I couldn't pass it by.
Did you know there are some States that don't do this daylight savings time stuff?

I love the Tribe but unfortunately I have to work all week....
Dear friend....I really don't feel God wants me to express myself on these matters anymore, untill I get a totally firm grip with my mind on what exactly I think....
Let's talk about it some other time, please.

Yeah, I live for those Wednesday lunches. We have two of the girls spending the night tonight, tho. Braelyn feels a little feverish, so I hope she'll be ok to go tomorrow. Hey! We had snow today! Can you believe it? Grampy is weakening. He said he may not can wait til the end of the 40 days! Ha!
Enjoy the game. It's not quite that bad pollen wise here (yet) and I'm extremely thankful for that. Our Spring Break is in April--can you believe it? Hope you are doing okay...
Hey Craig, thanks for the comment about being an Ohio teacher. Add to that new expense the fact that I now have to pay close to $300 a month on our health insurance, lost total coverage in our health plan, and now we have to get a criminal background check done for the state of Ohio and we get to go to the county school office and pay $57 to have all this fun and travel!!! Never mind that my school is 100 yards from the police station..the state of Ohio won't allow us to have the checks done there. Jumping through hoops never ends in the life of a teacher!!!!! Take care.
Oh! Kerri, Shawn and the kids came to church and had Sunday dinner with us. we had such an awesome visit. Their kids are absolutely priceless. They were so well behaved and ate like litlle champs. The twins are so sweet and content. Drake is only 2 1/2+ and can sing his ABC's and count to 20! This kindergarten teacher was very impressed!!! Enjoy your sunshine. More snow on the way for us. Phil worked 80 hours last week. Salting and scraping is big business for landscapers right now!!!!!
Chic-fil-a day was great! The youngest one fell asleep in my lap while we played bingo! The one by our house decided to start playing bingo for free meals (no money involved). The kids (and Mothers) loved it. None of us won anything, but it was still fun. Grampy is caving. He wants to do an Easter post which would be before the 40 days are up. Close, but no cigar! He's too funny! Have a great weekend!
Enjoy your pollen
I am in the middle of what could be the largest snowfall this winter! Ugh.
Unfortunately, the obits are the first thing I check everyday. Several years ago I was a little more sporatic in reading them. One morning I was flipping through and caught a glimpse of a picture in the obits, it was the girl who helped to push Paul and I into dating. Ever since then I read them daily. So far I haven't found my name. :)
Welp, the snow has melted; and it was in the 60's today. Beautiful sunny day. Hard to believe we had snow just a few days ago. Yep! This Memphis weather is unbelievable. Hope you are having a blessed week!

My apologies in not having responded in forever. So to try to keep up:
1.) I have one make-up day so far. Not unbearable. I'm around for football the week after school lets out anyway, so it's no difference to me.
2.) All of us pretty much had a stroke upon seeing the new rate hike for licensure. But there is promising news: the ODE is willing to listen to methods of scaling back the rate hike so that teachers aren't pouring all of--if not more than--their annual raise into licenses, background checks, etc. Otherwise, I owe $200 next year to get a 5-year license renewal.
actually, it's through cedarville. do i know you?
Ummmm, let's see........ Yes, I've been watching the March Madness. Just today I watched my other favorite team, the Razorbacks, get a whoopin'! Can't wait til the NCAA tournament in a few days. Grampy is hanging in there, but he has replaced xanga for now with utube and myspace. Still says he's doing a post on his xanga this week. My daughter is doing okay I guess. She is still waiting on a new prosthetic and just had three new drugs added to her regimen, making it 5 a day she takes for now - way too many for a 23 yr old, I think. They are trying to manage her pain, because there is nothing else they can do. She is a trooper, tho. Thanks for asking. Hope you have had a great weekend. I think it's time for you to do a new post!! Take care and God bless you and yours!

Thanks! We had fun getting those photos. I think they took about 100.
Yea!! My Hogs and my Tigers both won tonight!
